What does it treat?

How does it feel?

The feeling is described by most patients as comfortable with little to no pain, only a slight tingling sensation with light pressure.

The actual treatment takes about 1 hour depending on the area (s) to be treated.

How long do the results last?

Everyone is different, but the collagen you make is your own. It can take up to 3 months to see the results as your body has to do the work.

Ultherapy

The Only FDA Approved Non-Surgical Lift for the

Microneedling/PRP/PRF

With the assistance of the SkinPen®, microchannels are safely created in the skin. In response, the skin stimulates collagen.
These channels allow specifically formulated topicals such as PRP or PRF to be delivered deep into the skin that normally would not occur.  After a series of treatments, the pores appear smaller while fine lines, wrinkles, and texture improve and the skin appears lifted. This procedure can have significant improvement on linear and acne scars after multiple treatments as well.

PRP can also be injected to the scalp and eyebrows to help restore hair loss.

Rather than depend on photo filters or heavy concealers to hide your skin concerns, consider a lasting solution with Excel V laser by Cutera.  It offers many treatment features that address skin and aesthetic concerns.  

Vascular (1064 nm)

The vascular side of the laser allows us to treat annoying blood vessels and veins on the face and body.  It is safe for all skin types and will help diminish/resolve vessels from red and blue in color.  As with all laser treatments, repeat treatments may be necessary.

Pigment and Redness (532 nm)

This side of the laser allows us to target unwanted pigment and diffuse redness on the face and body.  With this non-invasive approach to skin revitalization, patient’s skin becomes clearer and healthier looking.  It targets small brown spot to all over freckles and generalized redness.  This non-ablative procedure offers the advantage of improving skin tone and surface imperfections associated with aging and photodamage.  Patients love the secondary collagen benefits of this laser.

Plasma Pen 

There is such a buzz about this new cosmetic procedure! Available in Europe for years.  It has finally made its way here to the US.  And we are proud to be the first in South Tampa to offer it!

Aging sucks!  Our skin is losing 1% of collagen a year starting in our mid 20s.  Elastin fibers which give our skin elasticity wear out. This results in wrinkles and sagging skin.  Ugh! 

When treating with this device, we target the fibroblasts in the dermal layer of the skin.  When targeted, they begin to stimulate collagen and elastin.  This results in a stronger and more youthful skin ratio. It’s putting back the lost collagen and elastin.  In addition to the deep remodeling that occurs, you immediately see a contraction on the surface skin tissue which is best noted as skin tightening.  

This is considered a soft-surgery that use to require real surgical intervention.  There is not any anesthesia required.  And there is no cutting, sutures, thinning of the skin, and it’s more affordable than surgery.  

How does it work?  It has nothing to do with the plasma in your blood!  

The plasma pen converts electrical energy into electrostatic energy.  When the tip comes at the right distance to the skin, oxygen and nitrogen are mixed and the electrostatic energy produces an arc of plasma (imagine the sci-fi balls of static energy we played with in high school) which discharges onto the skin.  The result is seen on the skin as very fine lines or dots in the treated area.

These dots will be visible on the skin for 5-7 days.  You will not be able to wear makeup or exercise during this period.  If the eye areas is treated, expect swelling.  

The results last around 3 years, but some can be permanent.
